As part of FCTA’s ongoing commitment to deliver quality training to regional South Australia, a FREE pre-apprenticeship course will commence in Clare on March 15th. Funded by the Australian Government, and supported by the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science & Technology, these courses are free to students. The KICKSTART courses focus on 16 – 19 year olds, however a limited number of places for older students also exist.
The course runs fulltime for 10 weeks. During that time students will receive an introduction to Bricklaying, and some basic skills in Solid Plastering. FCTA will be interviewing interested applicants on Thursday March 3rd, in Clare.
Applicants must be seeking an apprenticeship outcome, or full time employment within the building industry.
