Changes to Skills for All eligibility may affect people interested in completing Pre-Apprenticeship courses

Skills for All has been a very popular funding method for people looking to develop existing skills or gain new skills in the building and construction industry. Since Skills for All started in 2012, the vast majority of our students have been able to complete our Pre-apprenticeship courses without having to pay anything from their own pocket.

This will change for some students from today. New students enrolling in Cert II Construction courses – commonly referred to as ‘Pre-apprenticeship’ will only be able to receive Skills for All funding if they meet a narrower criteria.
