The Australian and South Australian Governments have come together and established JobTrainer as part of an economic response to COVID-19. An $88 million investment supporting young people, school leavers and jobseekers.
JobTrainer provides subsidised training for eligible students.
To be eligible you must live or work in SA and meet one of the following criteria:
- Not currently employed, or
- Aged between 17 and 24 years and not enrolled in school, or
- Hold a Health Care, Pensioner or Veteran Affairs concession card
For apprenticeship fees we do not charge by nominal hours, this is so we can offer a flexible timetable. At the end of the JobTrainer program accounts will be reconciled. Refunds for training fees will then be applied.
