The Pre-Apprenticeship Program is an introduction for people interested in a career in the building industry. This course is a way of introducing people to the building industry. The first 2 -4 weeks of the course will focus on Bricklaying, with the other trades following. The aim is to provide students with basic skills across bricklaying, solid plastering, tiling, basic concreting and basic scaffolding. Students should be seeking an apprenticeship or laboring work in one of these trades as an outcome.
- Certificate I in Construction (not scheduled, unless requested)
- Certificate II in Construction
Certificate II in Construction is a 10 week course.

We’ve listened to student feedback and the Cert II Construction course will now run 4 days a week, Tuesday – Fridays.
