Courses

Below you can find the courses we offer, if you are interested in being notified about upcoming courses please email admin@fcta.com.au. Please note that the construction industry gives heavier weighting to their qualifications, then some other industries. A Certificate III course is an advanced qualification that takes apprentices 4 years to complete with extensive on the job experience required.

Pre-Apprenticeship Courses

Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Construction & Construction Pathways courses are between 10 – 12 weeks full time duration. The Certificate I in Construction is a course that can be completed on a part time basis, such as 1 day a week across 6 months.

Apprenticeship Courses:

Certificate III courses in the trades are only delivered where students are employed as an apprentice. FCTA do not offer these qualifications without a contract or training (Apprenticeship).

Short Courses

FCTA has 2 new short courses, one in acrylic rendering, and one in traditional rendering. These courses run during the week, but weekend times can be negotiated if there are more than 5 students. Please refer to the following Information Sheets for more information about the 2 different courses, and to find out about the different types of rendering.

Timings:

Weekday courses run from 8am – 3:30pm.
First Monday of each Month – eg, w/c May 7th 2012, w/c June 4th 2012

Cost:
$750 per 5 day course (paypal credit card payments available)
