Certificate III in Bricklaying/ Blocklaying CPC33020

This qualification is offered to students who have secured an apprenticeship through a contract of training with an employer. Fees for apprentices are partly funded by support through WorkReady by the South Australian Government, and the Construction Training Industry Boards tuition support scheme.

Bricklayers lay bricks, pre-cut stone, concrete blocks and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures. This is the entry point for Apprentice Bricklayers and provides people with a range of core and underpinning skills and knowledge relevant to work in this field.

The following training plan is a sample only. To view the full training package that details all units of competence please refer to the General Construction Training Package (CPC08) qualifications and general structuring rules. Please download a copy of the Cert III Bricklaying Training Plan
